Behind the Collection: Barbados Leopard Print
What went into the Barbados print? A lot of thought!
Leopard print - coined the ‘new neutral’ is still one of the Runways’ hottest trends. How could I incorporate it with our minimalist brand DNA and bring it to the beach?
Several weeks, moodboards and a chat with the best :) Here you go! A sketch of a little barbados populated to make your bikini the most sophisticated souvenir you can travel with!
Which colorway do you like best?
Leopard in Classic EarthTones
Leopard print in neutral tones is super flattering on many women. Earthtones compliment different skin tones nicely! Whether you are vanilla, chocolate or any shade thereof this colorway will look great on you.
Leopard in Hermes Orange and Sea Blue
What a special print - how could we not rock it in bright, playful pops of color! Pantone’s princess blue and turmeric jumped straight out at me. They remind a vintage postcard and my favorite non-swimwear brand Hermes.
High Rise Bikini Bottoms
Let’s be honest, high cut or as some call High rise equals minimal Coverage. Thank instagrammers for this bikini bottom rage. You definitely need to book yourself a wax. If you are in Barbados, I recommend you hit up the Loft Spa.
Low rise is still flattering so experiment with what works for you and flatters your body type. Hiking up bikini bottoms makes you look leggy - so we hope this trend stays around a little longer.
The Martinique - with its scrunched or smocked waistband truly gives the illusion of a much smaller waist.
The Argentina bottom is versatile enough to be worn high rise or hiphugger.
Bandeau & Triangle Bikini Tops
Bandeau Bikini Top
Copacabana, Rio de Janiero - 1970. This bandeau top is basically a postcard. Customers love it for tanning - no tan lines is still very sexy. If you want a sublime sun tan, I would go for this style.
Triangle Bikini Top
If you are looking to be a little more active on the beach but still want a top thats universally flattering on different body types go for our classic triangle style. For women with curves you will find that the slightly thicker back strap offers maximum comfort and a medium level support. For maximum support go for our Bridgetown top. This will leave a thin little tan line - think of it as a “sun kiss” ;)
